It's been a while I know, but I'm still here, hovering in the background, and enjoying all the amazing creativity this site has to offer.

But alas, I have another purpose in being here today...

The RGU (Robert Gordon University) Student Association thrives, and is once again holding the Student Elections.  And so...

Yes its time to pimp the latest play I'm in.

William Shakespeare's
A Midsummer Nights Dream
as performed by Studio Theatre Group

Performances will be the 5th -7th of November (that's Wednesday Thursday and Friday), in the Aberdeen Arts Centre, starting at 7.30pm.

Tickets are £9, with a concession price of £7, so I expect all you students to be there too

Yays, I failed 3rd year.  What fun

So I guess a repeat of Analogues is in order.  One module for a whole year.  How soul-crushing.  Though, now I'm over the initial disappointment of not doing any fun honours projects this year, I don't mind too much.  More time to make money, and cast my mind further afield.  And I may even do an honours project just for the hell (some of them just sound like too much fun ).  May even (and I know this has been said before) afford a motorbike this year?

Anyway, freshers week is upon us once more, which means chaos for the bar a second time round.  Oh, and its not just one freshers week this year.  Its... three.

Yeah.

Shoot me if you've heard this one already, but did I ever mention I loathe exams?

I just had Analogues Electronics today.  If I scraped past it'll be a miracle.

So yeah, I chose the course.  I switched to it.  And I hate it. (yeah yeah, its just another anti-"my course" rant)

The lecturers are lousy and don't hold my interest in the subject, the material is boring, and I'm NOT FUCKING HAPPY HERE.  What I want to do is leave, find a job for a bit, and go travelling.  If I was interested in the modules, I'd probably make an effort.  By this point in the day I'd be sipping a well-earned celebratory "I just aced my exam" drink.  I would already know I'd past.

Guess what this proves.

Anyway, I guess I'll get to results day and pass everything just barely.  But I'm not sure I'll go on to 4th year any more.  I really like the idea of a gap year - possibly indefinitely.  I know, "you've come this far already", "get the final year done and you'll have a degree".  Get this: I DON'T CARE.

I really think I'm done.


Anyway some apologies - I don't normally vent like this - it's be done and done again, and makes for lousy reading.  I just feel better for doing it.

This is weird.  I never have a respectable sleep pattern.  Ever.
I used to frequently sleep past 12...1...2...
Now?  I can actually get up before ten without an alarm, or having to drag myself out of bed.

So anyway dA released version 6 (at least for all us wonderful subscribers).  Ain't that nice?
I do actually like it.  I used to have to search the link I was looking for, where as now, it all seems laid out pretty nice, and you can change it if you don't like it too.
It all seems rather well thought out.
It is a little more cluttered than before - but I think that just needs time to get used to.


I ordered a blutooth dongle from Play.com, and it arrived today...so instead on studying I spent the morning installing my flatmate's Wiimote on my PC (much easier than people make it out to be)...now all I need is a "sensor" bar.
Anyway I'm trying to make up for it now, but I'm tired(tonight is going to be punctuated by caffinated energy drinks) and can't really be assed with signals just now...maybe I should try the analogues instead...
